• COLD BREW

  • Equipment:

    • Coffee grinder
    • Mason jar or pitcher with lid
    • Filter (coffee filter or kitchen towel)
    • Kitchen scale

    Ingredients:

    • 60g coffee (6tablespoons)
    • 500g water

    Directions:

    1. Grind 60 grams of coffee beans to a coarse consistency.
    2. Add the ground coffee to the jar or pitcher.
    3. Pour 500 grams (or 500 ml) of room temperature water over the coffee, making sure all the coffee is wet.
    4. Stir gently to make sure all the coffee is submerged.
    5. Cover the jar or pitcher and let the coffee steep for 12 hours at room temperature or 18 to 22 hours in the fridge.
    6. After steeping, pour the cold brew through the filter to remove the coffee grounds.
    7. Transfer the cold brew to a clean container and store it in the fridge for up to one week.
    8. To serve, dilute the cold brew with water or milk to taste.
