COLD BREW

Equipment:
- Coffee grinder
- Mason jar or pitcher with lid
- Filter (coffee filter or kitchen towel)
- Kitchen scale
Ingredients:
- 60g coffee (6tablespoons)
- 500g water
Directions:
- Grind 60 grams of coffee beans to a coarse consistency.
- Add the ground coffee to the jar or pitcher.
- Pour 500 grams (or 500 ml) of room temperature water over the coffee, making sure all the coffee is wet.
- Stir gently to make sure all the coffee is submerged.
- Cover the jar or pitcher and let the coffee steep for 12 hours at room temperature or 18 to 22 hours in the fridge.
- After steeping, pour the cold brew through the filter to remove the coffee grounds.
- Transfer the cold brew to a clean container and store it in the fridge for up to one week.
- To serve, dilute the cold brew with water or milk to taste.
