AEROPRESS

Equipment:
- Aeropress brewer and filter
- Kitchen scale
- Hot water kettle
- Coffee grinder
- Mug or carafe
Ingredients:
- 15g coffee ( 3 tablespoons)
- 200g water
Directions:
- Boil water and let it cool for 30 seconds to reach a temperature of around 175-185°F (79-85°C).
- Grind 15 grams of coffee beans to a medium-fine consistency.
- Wet the Aeropress filter with hot water and discard the water.
- Assemble the Aeropress brewer with the filter in place, and place it on top of the mug or carafe.
- Add the ground coffee to the Aeropress chamber.
- Start the timer and pour 50 grams of water over the coffee grounds, making sure to saturate them evenly.
- After 10 seconds, stir the mixture gently.
- Pour another 150 grams of water into the Aeropress, again making sure to saturate the grounds evenly.
- Place the plunger into the Aeropress and gently press down, aiming for a total brew time of around 1 minute and 30 seconds.
- Remove the Aeropress brewer from the mug or carafe and enjoy your delicious cup of coffee!
