• Equipment:

    • Aeropress brewer and filter
    • Kitchen scale
    • Hot water kettle
    • Coffee grinder
    • Mug or carafe

    Ingredients:

    • 15g coffee ( 3 tablespoons)
    • 200g water

    Directions:

    1. Boil water and let it cool for 30 seconds to reach a temperature of around 175-185°F (79-85°C).
    2. Grind 15 grams of coffee beans to a medium-fine consistency.
    3. Wet the Aeropress filter with hot water and discard the water.
    4. Assemble the Aeropress brewer with the filter in place, and place it on top of the mug or carafe.
    5. Add the ground coffee to the Aeropress chamber.
    6. Start the timer and pour 50 grams of water over the coffee grounds, making sure to saturate them evenly.
    7. After 10 seconds, stir the mixture gently.
    8. Pour another 150 grams of water into the Aeropress, again making sure to saturate the grounds evenly.
    9. Place the plunger into the Aeropress and gently press down, aiming for a total brew time of around 1 minute and 30 seconds.
    10. Remove the Aeropress brewer from the mug or carafe and enjoy your delicious cup of coffee!
